Welcome to the destroyer glossary. If you train, you have to speak the language. If you don't understand it, you learn it. And if you learn it, you'll kill it.

BASIC TERMS
AMRAP – As Many Rounds (or Reps) As Possible. Do as many rounds or reps as you can in the allotted time. There's no resting here, just pushing.
EMOM – Every Minute on the Minute. You have 1 minute to do what you're told. Any time left, you rest. If you have time left, you can do more.
WOD – Workout of the Day Workout of the day. Whatever's happening today. Non-negotiable.
RX – Standard PrescriptionTrain with official weights and reps. No scaling. No excuses.
SCALE – WOD Modification: Adapting an exercise or weight to your level. It's good for improving, not slacking off.
PR – Personal RecordYour personal best. Your new ceiling. Until you break it.
BOX – CrossFit GymIt's not a gym. It's where you sweat, scream, and break everything. Your second home.
REP / REPS – Repetition/sEvery time you complete a movement. Do them well, not quickly. -
CLASSIC EXERCISES
Air Squat – Bodyweight squat. Technique, depth, and control.
Back Squat (BS) – A barbell squat on the back. Strong and stable.
Front Squat (FS) – Front squat with the barbell in the front position. Stronger core, better technique.
Overhead Squat (OHS) – Squat with a barbell overhead. Total stability.
Deadlift (DL) – The basic deadlift that builds everything.
Sumo Deadlift (SD) – Wide-footed deadlift. More adductors, fewer excuses.
Sumo Deadlift High Pull (SDHP) – High pull from sumo deadlift.
Snatch (SN) – Olympic snatch. From the ground to the sky, in one go.
Clean – Lifting the barbell to your shoulders with technique.
Clean and Jerk (C&J) – Clean and jerk. Two-stroke, pure power.
Power Clean (PC) – Clean without a full squat.
Hang Clean – Clean from hanging position.
Hang Snatch – Snatch from a hanging position.
Split Jerk – A split-legged jerk. Stable and precise.
Push Press (PP) – Push press. Shoulders and core at their maximum.
Push Jerk – Like the Push Press, but with a drop. More weight, more power.
Shoulder to Overhead (STO) – Any movement that brings the barbell from the shoulder up: push press, jerk, etc.
Thruster – Front squat + push press. The combo that blows you away.
Wall Ball Shots – Squat with a ball and throwing against the wall.
Kettlebell Swing (KB Swing) – Kettlebell swing. Pure hip power.
Dumbbell Row / Barbell Row – Rowing with a dumbbell or barbell. Slim back.
Bench Press – Classic and effective.
Shoulder Press – Strict shoulder press. No cheating.
Good Morning – Barbell Hip Flexion. Hamstrings and lower back on fire.
GHD / GHR – Machine for hyperextensions and hamstring curls. Brutal.
Hip Thrust – Hips to the sky. Glutes ON.
Plank – Plank. Core engaged, without moving.
Hollow Rock / Hollow Position – Tight and firm core position. Gymnastic.
Arch Position – Opposite of hollow. Back arch.

GYMNASTICS AND CARDIO
Pull Up (PU) – Pull-up. Up or nothing.
Chest to Bar (C2B) – Pull-up to chest. Higher, stronger.
Muscle Up (MU) – Pull-up + dip on rings or a bar. The king of boxing.
Ring Dips / Dips – Dips. Triceps on fire.
Handstand – Total control.
HSPU – Handstand Push-Ups. Shoulders + Balance.
Handstand Walk – Walking in a handstand. A next-level skill.
Toes to Bar (T2B) – Feet to the bar. Core with flow.
Toes to Ring – Ring variation.
Knees to Elbows (K2E) – Hanging knees to chest. Core + grip.
Jumping Jacks / Lunges / Squats – Basic jumps. Cardio and leg exercises.
Burpees / Variations – Hell. To the ground and to heaven.
Air Bike – Hellish bike. The more you push, the more it burns.
Row – Machine rowing. Pure endurance.
Devil Press – Burpee + Double Dumbbell Overhead. Total destruction.
Mountain Climber – Climber. Fast, controlled, powerful.
Sit Ups / V-Ups / Tuck Ups – Abs in all their forms.
Russian Twist – Weighted twist. Sharp core.
Man Makers – Dumbbell sequence: row, push-up, and press. Full body.
Farmer Carry – Walking with Weight. Grip and Mindset.
Sled Push/Pull – Pushing or pulling a sled. Strength + cardio.
